More than 300 people gambled for a great cause at TACA’s “ANTE UP FOR AUTISM” sold out fundraising event this past Saturday.

The premier “Gala and Casino Night” benefited TACA- a national non-profit organization with a mission to educate, empower and provide support to families affected by autism.  The ANTE UP FOR AUTISM event is TACA’s largest fundraiser of the year, which raised $264,207 (gross).

On September 22, 2012, celebrities, sport stars and professional poker players supported autism with Southern California’s elite.  Located at the luxurious Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, the event offered guests a VIP red carpet entrance, cocktails, tournament poker, live & silent auction and tips from poker stars.

ANTE UP FOR AUTISM’s special guests included co-hosts actor Johnathon Schaech and actress/singer Kate Voegele, actor James Morrison (FOX’s “24”), actor Tony Denison (TNT’s New Fall Show “Major Crimes”), actress Lacey Chabert (“Party of Five” and “Lost in Space”), actor Ken Davitian (“The Artist”), actor Todd Stashwick (“Heroes” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” actress India de Beaufert (ABC Family’s “Jane by Design”),  reality TV star Alexis Bellino of “The Real Housewives of OC,” actor Nicholas Gonzalez, actor Ronnie Blevins, actor Kelly Perine, actress Amy Davidson , actor/musician Andy Mackenzie, actress/TV Host Nicky Whelan, actor Todd Grinnell, actor Stuart Lafferty and actor Jarod Einsohn.

Professional athletes included Krisztina Fazekas Zur (2012 Olympic Gold Medalist - Canoeing), and Ante Up’s Red Carpet Host Brett Hughes (Lacrosse player and co-founder of Lacrosse The Nations).  Professional poker players included:  Joseph Reitman, Jamie Gold, Michelle Lau, Chad Brown and Kenna James.   More information about this year’s event is located at www.anteupforautism.org
