The Saturday evening event was held at the private residence of real estate entrepreneur and UCLA Alumni Barry Saywitz.

400+ guests came together as celebrities, athletes, and the fans of UCLA Athletics teamed up for an inspiring night of entertainment and support. Attendees mixed and mingled with special guests including Matt Barnes of the Los Angeles Lakers, 2X All American Sinjin Smith, former coach Terry Donahue, and former UCLA & Chicago Bears Quarterback Cade McNown. Highlighting the night was a live and silent auction, raising over $100,000 in support of UCLA Athletics. Continuing down the field of inspirations, guest speaker Rick Neuheisel (UCLA’s Head Football Coach) and Ben Howland (UCLA’s Head Men’s Basketball Coach) took the stage and shared messages of motivation and hope, while musical group Flashback Heart Attack’ scored the final points of the night as they provided the events live entertainment and brought out the inner cheerleaders of those on the dance floor.

Charity Lives, an advocacy campaign, whose mission is in the organization, support, and promotion of a globally recognized philanthropic dogma came together with the Wooden Athletic Funds for this event to help and support the UCLA Athletics Department as they strive to provide the best academic and athletic opportunities for more than 650 student-athletes.
